Lori is seeking a senior clerk in Uganda to liaise with our field operations team, cargo clients and drivers in order to enhance operational capacity and performance. You will utilize our in-house technology to identify operational delays and work tirelessly to determine the root cause of the delay and coordinate with the necessary party to resolve . You are the main contact person for the drivers and you make sure that the issues encountered on journey are communicated on time and resolved by the relevant party. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer and driver satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. You are a communication expert that always communicate frequently and timely, and you never give up until a resolution is found.
Oversee junior clerk operations in the different areas of operations.
Ensure clerks have enough support to execute their duties on time and in full
Report and escalate to the Operations Manager any field challenges on time and in full.
Report and share with the Operations manager clerks work done for accountability
Daily reports on field operations
Follow up on truck delays (both loading and unloading at Lori premises of operation)
Clerks work scheduling for efficient operations of clerks.
Follow through all documentation for filing of all Lori truck operations.(guarantee forms,interchanges,delivery notes,receipts,etc)
Get trucks moving.
