The Position

Lori is seeking a Director of People who will be focused on securing and strengthening the company’s foundation for current and future growth. You will be responsible for driving growth and facilitating change for the company through a focus on its people. You will also develop, implement, and align People Operations programs with business objectives, serving as a strategic partner of the senior management team while supporting employees’ day to day welfare needs.


  • Partner with the Executive team to implement and support company policies, practices and programs

  • Develop and execute Lori’s People Operations strategy

  • Lead your direct report managers in creating an inviting and cohesive employee experience

  • Develop and manage annual budgets for all departments

  • Bring cohesion across all company offices

  • Create accountability through targets and clear measurement

  • Create and build scalable processes

  • Enable company growth through establishing a road-map for greater retention and strategic hires

  • Develop and lead people capacity building initiatives to enhance performance in the organization

  • Create and manage company recruitment practices

  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role

  • Proven track record of building and developing an People Ops/HR organization

  • A strategic mind that is focused on execution

  • Extensive leadership experience and proven track record to develop managers

  • Attention to detail

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Exceptional understanding of People Operations Processes

  • Willingness and ability to get into the weeds and solve the problems at hand if needed

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

  • Bachelor’s Degree
